I bought Arthur Plotnik's Spunk & Bite: A Writer's Guide to Bold, Contemporary Style. I'm enjoying it immensely. I bought it to stay current on contemporary trends in writing and editing. It's chock full of reference materials and ideas for all kinds of writers.

- Enallage is using one part of speech for another. (I didn't know it had a name.)
- Catacosmesis is providing content in descending order of importance.
- Neologisms are invented or newly coined words.
