Sometimes, we "go negative" in our writing, and that wasn't the initial intention. We get jaded or in a hurry, and we don't think about the affect that it can have on readers.

Try to reword your text to the positive.

Examples:

Negative: Don't print the report before clicking View.
Positive: Click View. Then print your report.

Negative: Do not click submit until you have saved. You'll lose your changes.
Positive: Save your changes and click submit. Warning: If you click submit before saving, you will lose your changes.
