It's rainy and cold, and the economy stinks. I declare today a snow day. (I have them all year. It doesn't have to be snowing.) It rarely snows around here any more. (May be this winter...I'm still doing my snow dance!) Anyway, my snow days are when I wear comfortable clothes and to do fun projects that I haven't gotten around to yet. Sometimes, I make hot cocoa and snuggle with one or both dogs in the big green chair and read a book. Sometimes, I work on my scrapbook. Lately, I've been knitting fuzzy scarves. (I finally learned. Thank you, Cindy!)

Anyway, don't let the weather, the economy, or anything else dampen your holiday season. There are tons of things that you can do to lift others' spririts. (And in turn, it will brighten your own outlook.) Spend time with someone this season. Don't let the craziness cause you to forget the meaning of the holiday season!
