As a child of the 80s , I was saddened to read of John Hughes' death today. He created some of the most memorable movie moments from my teen years. It's hard to pick a favorite. The Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller's Day Off  will always hold a special place. (But the romantic teen in me will never forget the birthday cake scene Sixteen Candles. Where was Jake when I turned 16?)
