Balloons and a Small Miracle
I'm always on the look out for miracles and stories of hope and inspiration. I found one on the front page of the Metro section in the Richmond-Times Dispatch this morning.
Miss Madelyne Blanton (7) of Midlothian is undergoing chemotherapy for leukemia. She went home last week. She attached a note to the balloons she received at the hospital with a note for the finder to write her back. The balloons landed several miles away at a company called Patient Services, Inc. It's a company that assists families with chronic illnesses. Patient Services is now a resource for her family.
Check out the RTD article. It's a great photo and an inspiring story.
I believe in miracles too!
