I have found cousins and cousins that I never knew existed. Check out this site, Genforum, if you're doing any family history research. They have hundreds of forums organized by last name. It's free. You can search for key words, find email contacts, and post queries.

On my husband's side, I found two cousins who provided photos of the family's private cemetery in Pennsylvania and of the old family home.  I found another cousin who helped me fill in some missing gaps in the family history.
