We have a wonderful internship program where we get students who help with projects that need additional resources. The students are paid, and they get valuable work experience.  We also get the opportunity to mentor and coach. I've been asked to provide feedback on interns' writing, documentation, and work assignments.

I'm thrilled when I hear back from them when they get their first job or are accepted into graduate school.

I appreciate the extra help that they bring (and the fresh set of eyes), and I treasure the opportunity to share my job and my area.
