I subscribe to Kirk Weisler's blog, and I appreciate his positivity. I read this one last week, and it triggered a big smile (especially after our adventures last weekend).

I have two (elder) dogs, and we had a scare with the Jack Russell last Sunday. He woke up in the middle of the night. He got sick, and then he was having trouble walking. He was sluggish, and he had rapid eye movement. I thought he had had a stroke. We took him to the emergency vet. It turned out that he was suffering from vertigo. The vet gave him a shot for the nausea, and an RX for Dramamine. He's doing much better now, but the poor baby was walking around like a drunk sailor for a day or two. I didn't know that dogs could suffer from this. I can sympathize. I get terribly seasick, and it's not fun.

So, it's been quite a week. Hopefully, this weekend will be calmer. Check out Kirk's blog.
