Remembering the Kiss...Time Square

Lots of people celebrated the 65th anniversary of the of WWII in Time Square  yesterday. They donned sailor and nurses' hats to reenact the famous Life magazine photograph. What a cool way to remember!

And what an era! It was an amazing generation. (My grandfather received a Purple Heart for injuries he sustained at the Battle of the Bulge.) We owe so much to the men and women who sacrificed and who sacrifice to serve our country. If you have the opportunity, please say thank you.

Enjoy what's left of the weekend!
