Farewell to Bonnie Blue Butler
Actress Cammie King Conlon died recently. She was best known as Bonnie Blue Butler in MGM's Gone with the Wind (1939). I didn't know that she also did the voice of Falene in Disney's Bambi.
Her famous dress from GWTW is in a collection in Texas. The CNN article also pointed out there are only a few remaining cast members. It lists Olivia de Havilland (Melanie) and Ann Rutherford (Carreen).

I spoke to Cammie King Conlon this year inviting her to speak and sign her book at the April 2010, 5th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival in Marshfield,MO. She had a prior commitment in Texas. Cammie was very kind and gracious and "hoped to join us in 2011."
Sorry to hear she has passed away.
