2011 - Lists over Resolutions!

We have been bombarded this past week with ways to improve or change just about everything. I usually make resolutions in January and forget most of them by mid-March. This year, I'm going to try a new approach.  I'm really good a making and following lists, so I'm going to go that route this year. I'll let you know if my experiment works.

I like lists because I can see tasks. I can order them, and I can see progress. I love crossing things off my lists. And if I keep the list long enough, it goes from to do to accomplished.

We've been hibernating for the first two days of this new year. I'm enjoying my time off before I have to go back to work tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to the 5AM alarm. I haven't set it since December 21.

Okay, so there's what I've accomplished so far this January...

1. I rolled $42 in loose change.
2. I cleaned the oven.
3. I finished reading a book.
4. I watched 3 movies. (Only Inception  was worth mentioning.)
5. I cleaned out my closet and bagged the donations for the Goodwill.
6. I worked on my WIP (work in progress).

And I have about 7.5 hours until the alarm goes off, so who knows, I may add to the list. I hope you have a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year! Good luck with your resolutions in whatever form you choose to manage them.
