Interesting Guest at the Library of Congress

A small hawk  got in and became trapped in the reading room in the Library of Congress this week. The Raptor Conservancy of Virginia and others captured her today with the help of two starlings. The hawk, originally named Jefferson, will be released after some rehabilitation.

I can think of worse places to be trapped. I'm glad that everything worked out for her.
