My dad recommended that I try Lee Child. He was right; it's a good thriller. I started with 61 Hours; it's part of his Reacher series.

This one has everything...bikers, meth labs, foreign drug lord, abandoned military facility with a shady past, and a massive South Dakota snow storm. His protagonist is an ex-military from a crack Army unit. He ended up in a prison town after a bus accident in a blizzard. Child is a master of the cliffhanger. He sets a pace that keeps the reader wanting more. I can't wait to read Worth Dying for.
