Jack Attack...

We missed our little Domino so much that we decided to get another puppy to keep our 15-year old Jack Russell (Tig) company. There were two in the cage, and in a moment of weakness, we ended up bringing both home. They have turned our quiet house upside down.

Disney Cleo (the brunette) and Riley (the Rocket) are growing. They started out at 4 lbs and some change, and now she's 6 lbs, and he's about 10. I'd really like to bottle the energy.

Disney likes literature. She chewed the corner off of my L. Frank Baum biography. She also ate a pretty good portion of three pages of my manuscript that I was proofreading. I'm taking that as she approved, and that it was well worth tearing into. It's been a busy week, she also ripped up a magazine about the royal wedding. She was over all the media hype and not impressed by the Seuss-like hats.

Riley bounds around and wants to love anyone within 50 yards. His favs are playing ball and chasing bugs in the back yard. So far, they've left the yard rabbit and the squirrels alone.

They're not always terrorizing Tig and each other. Both have learned how to sit and stay. Riley's graduated to shake. They look sweet here (they always do when they're sleeping). Our house is topsy turvey these days, but they make it fun. We're working on Frisbee next. They chase it and stand on it when it lands. They haven't quite figured out all the rules yet. I'll let you know how next week goes...
