NINE DRAGONS - Michael Connelly

Things aren't always what they seem...I just finished Michael Connelly's Nine Dragons. It's perfect for a 100+ degree day. Stay inside and find a good book.

This is another of his Harry Bosch novels. Bosch is a no-nonsense LA detective. When he's assigned to a robbery with a murder in the Asian community, he lands smack dab with a case that includes murder, kidnapping, gangs, and organ-harvesting.

Bosch interrupts his investigation to fly to Hong Kong to rescue his daughter. He meets with tragedy on the other side of the world when he's trying to find his daughter's kidnappers.

The book was a little slow at first, but the last four to five chapters made it worthwhile. I like how Connelly links his characters in his different novels and series. Even Matthew McConaughey appeared as a cameo in this one.
