Parnell Hall is another new-to-me mystery writer. I love books with snarky sleuths. And Hall has great characters. The Puzzle Lady, Cora Felton, goes on a sponsorship tour for a cereal company. There's angst about the tour from the beginning. It turns out that the Puzzle Lady, is a fake. She lives with the real Puzzle Lady, her niece, who wants to remain anonymous.

Cora Felton is the face, while her niece, Sherry Carter, is the puzzle whiz. The tour includes actors and a film crew to capture cereal commercial footage. It goes from bad to worse when Cora discovers she's being stalked, and an actress and the publicist end up dead.

Love triangle (or squares), too many grocery stores to count, and a toy poodle all factor in to make this a fun read.
