Her sleuths, Helen and Phil are newlyweds who have started their own private investigative firm. They live in a Florida apartment complex where the residents gather each evening by the pool to toast the sunset. The sleuths garner their first two clients from this group, and that leads them to a suicide case from 25 years ago and a philandering husband. To get information on the latter, Helen takes a job as a gym receptionist and this accidently puts her smack dab in the middle of a murder investigation.
The novel intertwines the suicide, murder, and the wayward husband case and delves into Helen's painful past.
It's a quick mystery read with some odd characters. So celebrate sundown with the poolside bunch and enjoy the read.
